Community Supported Agriculture programs are designed to close the gap between the farm and the plate. While they give consumers a chance to eat fresh, high quality, and nutritious food, they also provide the farm with structure. Harvest days are predetermined which provides the CSA member with produce that was harvested recently. For Home Plate Farm, our harvest day is our delivery day so our members will receive their share as if it came from their back yard. When a consumer makes a commitment to a farm, the farmer is enabled to invest in the equipment, seeds, and growing costs required for the program. This mutually beneficial relationship connects likeminded consumers and encourages the strengthening of the community through a transparent local food system.

Our program runs from June 6th to October 4th, a full 18 weeks or 4 1/2 months of harvests. Harvest and delivery day will be Friday of every week. Each week will contain a combination of seasonal vegetables, fruits, herbs, and flowers. There will be an option to be notified when the delivery is made, in whichever mode of communication is preferred. Each item will be washed (except for the flowers) at least once by us. Since we are not spraying insecticides, herbicides, or fungicides we recommend you clean your produce again. Towards the peak of the season we will schedule a farm tour for members that want to visit. At the end of the season, we’ll offer a discount to returning members for 2025 and look forward to growing a community!

Do I live close enough?

If you live in Hopkinton, Northbridge, Grafton, or Shrewsbury… we deliver to your area! Message us if you’re still unsure!

Can I pay monthly?

For the 2024 season we are not offering this option, but stay tuned for 2025.

Can I split it with a neighbor or another family?

As long as the delivery destination is consistent, that works for us!

What’s included in the harvests? What can I cook with them?

Our harvests are organized by seasonality and culinary pairing. Not all items will end up on one dish and some of the items are meant to be eaten raw! For example, we’ll be harvesting strawberries in June, tomato and basil in July, and pumpkins in October.
